The October 2009 QST magazine, page 64, reports the actions of the 2009 second meeting of the ARRL Board. The Board approved the "establishment of a Study Committee to study, research and consider developing a PLAN TO MOVE THE US AMATEUR COMMUNITY TO NARROWBAND CHANNEL SPACING." (Emphasis mine) One has to wonder who those folks really represent after their performance with the frequency allocation by signal bandwidth push and now this.
