The Greater Cincinnati Amateur Radio Association's weekly net on 1936KHz at 9PM every Thursday will be hosting it's annual AM Night on Thursday December17th. AM stations running every vintage of AM equipment from retired broadcast rigs, classic boat anchor rigs and the latest software defined radios are invited to join the activity on 1936KHz next Thursday. Net Control station NM4A at Union, Ky. will host the activity which formally begins at 9PM EST. There is usually some pre net activity beginning around 7:30 PM EST. This activity has in previous years attracted AM operators from all over the US operating a wide variety of heavy metal rigs as well as the latest in AM technology. All stations are invited to join in on this annual gathering. Each operator will be asked to describe his or her station. Join the fun on 160!
