Dick: Regarding the "175 volts at 100 mA"
Don't overlook the possibility of using a split-primary filament transformer. Use one half of the primary connected to 120 VAC, use the other half in a voltage-doubler to get HV. Use the filament winding to power the filaments. Been there, done that on an ARC-5 receiver! - Jim W4ENE ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Post: [email protected] To unsubscribe, send an email to [email protected] with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
