I have seen people take a stiff piece of cardboard and bend it into a "U" shape, then tape it to the back side of the screen with the "U" over the front side. Not pretty but works.
If you want to get "fancy" I have seen a few people put velcro on the backside of the screen so they can remove the cover and store it LeRoy, KD8BXP http://www.HamOhio.com ------Original Message------ From: ANTHONY JAPHA Sender: [email protected] To: amsat-bb ReplyTo: [email protected] Subject: [amsat-bb] WL7H in AK? Sent: Jul 17, 2009 8:39 PM Hi All, This morning on AO-7 at about 1229 UTC, I heard WL7H on cw with good sigs. Are you (or is he) in KL7 or somewhere else? I've not heard KL7 from here in NYC before. A different question: any hints on shading a laptop's screen so that it can be viewed when operating outdoors (to avoid sunshine)?
