Hi Mark-Maybe with a fairly high gain antenna and a high elevation.  That would
be fun to play with.  Tracking the doppler would be a challange.  But then, "if
it were easy, everyone would be doing it".

Subject: [amsat-bb]  1.2 GHZ to AO 51 with 1 watt ?

I recently acquired a 1.2 GHZ handheld that has a max output of one watt.   Any
thoughts about how well this would work with AO51 ?  Would a hand held antenna
be feasible ?   Just curious.  Thnx
