Hello fellow V052 fans!  Dale I think you must go to bed early as I am on at 
least one pass most nights (ok, usually late) that lights us both up and n'er a 
peep from the north!  LOL  Geez this sat lights up Siberia, northern Canada, 
central America, at times most all of the US, and the lack of operators is 
astounding.

Anyway, yes, by all means- anyone who has not at least listened to the strength 
of the VO52 downlink should do so.  It is very strong and consistently good to 
the horizon.  And, I guess going to the point of this thread- largely unused.  
But with such a wide passband, there is loads of room for many stations so no 
"2 meter repeater" or DX pileup characteristics.

I will agree with you on this. VO52 has the best downlink at my QTH.  Wish 
there was more activity on it also.
