A very good friend of mine was on a Russian submarine a few years ago for a 
missile launch (they have a setup with submarine launched missiles to put 
satellites in orbit).

The Russians let him take pictures every where in the "control 
room"...including the Garmin GPS receivers.

With what the last administration let the PRC get away with in the name of 
making the Dreamliner...ITAR is a big joke.
