Its Official Cute 1.7 has re-entered.
With no new elements from Space Track since 16:26 UTC on October 24th it was
no surprise to see this afternoons posting at 15:03 stating that Cute 1.7 has
decayed.
There has been sudden rise in sunspot numbers and in solar flux over the past
few days which no doubt speeded up its demise, which probably took place just
a few orbits after the 16:26 UTC elements.
I will announce the re-entry competition winner after I have attempted to get
an estimate of the re-entry time.
If anyone cares to post an opinion based on the last element sets on Space
Track I would be pleased to compare results.
