Dear All, For the first time this morning (26th December 2009 at 0815 UTC, 45 Deg Elevation), the linear transponder of XW-1 / HO-68 was turned on over Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The transponder was sounding very well, with a couple of high speed CW stations and JAs heard on SSB just after AOS.
Unfortunately, had too short a window to find my uplink and work the JAs. After the JA window has passed, managed to have a nice contact with E21EJC. As published, the linear transponder shut off at 0819 UTC, and after this the following CW telemetry was recorded: http://www.9w2qc.net/amsatbb/HO68_1120MYT_45DEG.mp3 Great sounding satellite, and hope to see the linear/FM transponder activated more often over this part of the region. BTW, is there any particular e-mail address (maybe from the control team) that we should use to send telemetry recordings to?
