I hope you didn't order the Yaesu CN-3 adapter. It should be taken off the market. It provides absolutely no protection/strain relief to your new HT's SMA connector when in use. Stephen Gulyas makes "intelligent" BNC-toSMA adapters ... which have a hard rubber gasket that "mates" to the top of a radio. VERY protective from the stress and strain we place on our radios when changing out antennas.
