Hi Frank, Yes, you are right - we have enough chaos on our FM satellites !!! Believe me, I'm one of the fighters for more discipline.
Maybe I understand our hobby a little different. Amateur Radio is for me an experimental hobby. I find it exciting to do new things and learn from it. Digital modes are equal to the analog ones. If I do an experiment at the outer end of the band, the risk of disturbing others seems to be very low. And if you carefully look at the spectrum ( http://www.dk3wn.info/p/?p=13368 ) during this experiment - you will see that no other station was not even close. The bandwidth of the FO-29 transponder is 100 KHz.
