Hi Roger, Some things to remember and then check: nearly each program in SatPC32 requires you to enter your lat/long (or grid square and it will calculate lat/long) and desired time zone. Also, be sure that each program is referring to the same Keplarian data (also in the setup).
So--when I hear that two different programs are giving different results---I suspect that the programs are configured differently and/or using different Keplarian data files. Give that a good close look first before reinstalling... 73, Mark N8MH At 11:38 PM 4/14/2010 -0700, Roger Swickis wrote: >Dear Folks, > >I am attempting to get myself back on the satellites and am having some >problems with SatPC32. > >Although WinAOS gives me accurate satellite position data, SatPC32 does not. >Furthermore satellite AOS/LOS data is different between the two programs, >sometimes by a half an hour. > >I have checked all the settings and have tried updating the Keps but can't >seem to get the program to display accurate data. > >Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know if there way around this other >than re-installing SatPC32?
