THANK YOU to you folks who made this evening's demo in El Segundo DM03 nothing
short of fantastic for my audience!

Although the temp was 20 degrees cooler in El Segundo than it was in my own
Riverside, our meeting place was a two-story building. So it was best to leave
the assemblage in the shade, while I initiated reception of AO-51. As I
detected quieting, I looked up at the 30+ in the group, and announced -

"Now is the time to start walkin' towards the guy in the Hawaiian shirt and
weird antenna ... "

(grin)

We worked South Dakota ... Lake Tahoe ... a couple of units in the San
Francisco region, northern California ... YOU know who you are. I do not record
these - too geeky even for me (grin 2).

As soon as we finished the pass, we walked into the El Segundo PD's EOC for my
presentation. The room was full of about 35 attendees.

THANKS AGAIN, AMSAT MEMBERS. My physician has told me to watch my blood
pressure ... but I still get excited by all of this.
