I use a free app for my Iphone to determine what grid I'm in, whereas I used to use a Garmin 2XL? purchased on one of my first grid trips to the midwest 10 years ago.
The Garmin Nuvi the wife had (before it's midnight liberation from my rental car in Dayton) also would give you a lat and long if you knew where to look in the menu.
