Hi Glenn, No, the tracker works fine with a Serial to USB adaptor, I would just like to eliminate the adaptor. The comport on the laptop may be faulty. I just got it yesterday at the show. That is why I asked it there were any port settings that anyone had used different from the virtual USB ports. Tnx for coming by yesterday, it helped a lot..
