The AO-7 Mode A pass on 9/18/10 at approximately 1430 UTC (POS with 14 degs elevation) at my location, FM-19, was truly impressive. The CW downlink was rock solid for the entire pass into my little 2 element 10 meter yagi with my uplink power of 10-15 watts into a 3 X 3 element RHCP yagi. The CW downlink tone was most impressive with no warbling at all! No one answered my CQs but what a delight to hear such an impressive downlink from the grand old lady. AO-7 is truly a remarkable resource!
Enjoy her! Guy N3SCR _______________________________________________ Sent via [email protected]. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member? Join now to support the amateur satellite program! Subscription settings: http://amsat.org/mailman/listinfo/amsat-bb
