If you live in a quiet area, you might plot all APRS packets
heard on 144.39 anywhere in North America. With 10,000 people
transmitting routinely, a few might just happen at the instant
of a meteor reflection to your area.

Anyone that plots more than 500 miles is most likely via Meteor
Scatter.

Best to use a NOT-HIGH antenna so your receiver is not blocked
so much by all the local traffic.
