Right now, AO-51 shuts off the transmitters when the battery voltage 
dips below a setpoint, or the panels drop below 14v. It turns back on 
when the battery voltage reaches a separate setpoint.

SO-50 has no power management that I'm aware of, other than the PL tones 
used to activate it. It should be functional in eclipse.
