Hi all!! Have been reading the mail regarding the lack of activity on vo-52. Have made several attempts in the past to work this bird.
Given that the 144 MHz uplink is lsb and the downlink is usb (inverting), what should I expect in terms of doppler shift? I would assume that the downlink will shift up (assuming that the bird is ascending), and down when it is descending (away). Or do I have it backwards? How much will it shift? I can hear the bird, and do have the necessary gear. Thanks, Norm n3ykf _______________________________________________ Sent via [email protected]. Opinions expressed are those of the author.
