Hello all, I fully agree with Mike. They are very compact but good antennas. I achieved ZRO level 8 on both, 2m and 70cm, using each time a single X-Quad. Based on their size they can be easily mounted foremast without distortion of the polarization ...
My antennas are presently down because of some reconstruction work around my home, but you can find some pictures and description on my homepage at www.dd1us.de (including a description how to switch them from LHCP and RHCP). Polarization was hardwired to RHCP. These antennas are very compact - the floor space/performance ratio cannot be beaten.
