I was wondering the same thing. I am going to CA soon and of course want to
bring some gear.... I would think this is a pretty common item, but considering
the number of hams vs population maybe not???
I am gonna call the airline and see what they say!

P.S. I stopped experimenting with my new antenna, sorry for any
interuptions this weekend, I was hearing you guys, and myself. Just not good
enough. :(
