Hi Roger, WA1KAT I have used the KR-400 as a single unit for the azimuth and a KR-500 as a single unit for the elevation since OSCAR-7 and provided a preventional maintenance they worked very well for many years.
I have the manuals on paper and I have modified the control box of both adding relays and the electronics necessary to command it with PC for the automatic traking. In a separate email I have sent to you the electrical schematic diagrams for the above modifications. Tanks for the internet address of the manual. 73" de i8CVS Domenico ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roger Kolakowski" <[email protected]> To: "i8cvs" <[email protected]> Cc: "Sven Arne Astrup" <[email protected]>; "Amsat - BBs" <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2011 12:41 AM Subject: Re: [amsat-bb] Re: Yaesu G-5400B and G-5500 controller > KR400 manual here... > > http://www.w4rp.com/KR400/ > > Roger > WA1KAT > > > > On 5/10/2011 6:20 PM, i8cvs wrote: > > Hello, Sven LA6KJ > > > > The only information I got from the schematic diagrams is that the azimuth > > motor for the G5400B is a KR-400 and it is an old model of azimuth rotator > > used about 25 years ago as a single azimutal unit. _______________________________________________ Sent via [email protected].
