Thanks Alan,

Call is AB9RU, I plan on using the SSB sat entries to compare against the
default doppler file to see where it may be in error for the 847. I never
thought this would be easy, even after watching the WD9EWK videos but that is
an
example of what happens with experience and a good memory. I was hoping to be
able to buy a Funcube dongle yesterday but was late, I figure it would be
perfect using the SDR to find my downlink.

Jeremy (call??)

Sending one by direct mail. You will want to cut and paste carefully as
there are many entrees for my transverters, etc.

73s,

Alan
WA4SCA

PS When you get to be as experiences as WD9EWK, you will be able to point,
tune, talk, and whip up a soufflé during the pass.

If anyone has a modified doppler.sqf file for the Ft847, I would appreciate
it
if it could be posted or emailed to me. It is hard trying to dial in my
downlink, while transmitting and holding an arrow antenna. 73
