I am, sorry, John ... I intended to ONLY listen and record that pass, until I heard "The hardest Workin' AMSAT Rep" Patrick in AZ come on ... But I clearly heard a few successful contacts ... before and after mine with Patrick. I might not be as educated as to a phenomenon of a "SO-50 deaf receiver due to overload" as you describe. It mostly felt "normal" to me in So CA: Many excited keying-ups, and slightly fewer successful contacts ... Clint, K6LCS P.S. - Yes, I have had several cups of coffee at a Rotary meeting this morning from 8-11Am, now followed by a Pina Colada (or two) back at home ... But since this is just 'tween you and I, John, I am not embarrassed to admit that fact ... _______________________________________________ Sent via [email protected].
