Hi Mike,

Consider these:

-Full Duplex is receiving and transmitting at the same time, typically on
different frequencies (bands).

-When working satellites in this mode, you are doing the same thing as their
transponder is :-)

-When you hear your / another signal in the receiver, presuming it and the
transmitter are tuned to the right frequencies, it represents what you or
other stations are transmitting to the satellite.
