All good, but the underlying question was about which open source versions sat tracking programs were betterm and why, after Mike K5TRI said 'Thank god for open source alternatives that are much better anyway'

Neither of those mentioned so far are Open Source, but I'd love to know too - Mike, which ones are you using?
