I am doing some shack cleaning. This unit was originally sold by Am-Comm. Since then, the basic electronics have been repackaged, sometimes combined with a speaker, and sold by various companies. My experience is that most of the time it is amazing, though rarely it does very little. The exact improvement depends on the signal, type of noise, levels, etc. It made the difference on AO-40 around apogee.
