Finally worked out the bugs in my receiving setup for E1P. My antenna is only a 70 cm HO loop with a mast mounted preamp. Haven't yet repaired the G-5500 (Yaesu hasn't responded to my queries!). Surprisingly, that antenna works quite well for E1P. Here's how I configured my equipment:

Receiver Mode: LSB
Freq: 437.5017 at pass start (excluding Doppler) drifting down to 437.50110. This could either be due to a slight error in the keps, or drift in the satellite's transmitter. This requires manual tweaking of the receiver in addition to Doppler correction. I tuned the receiver so the 1 second tuning tone from E1P was at the upper 1200 baud packet marker in MixW.

Demodulator: MixW set at normal 1200 baud packet. Using a virtual serial port emulator to connect to the E1P telemetry decoder. Also fed the audio to a KPC-9612, but was not able to decode any packets, even though MixW was having no problem with the signal.

I'm really amazed that I could collect data from a cube sat using my omni antenna! So far my best (in two passes) was 23 decoded telemetry frames.
