Dave,

There are a lot of TNCs around which will do 9600. I have a DSP-2232 which
I used until recently. These days many are moving to using sound cards and
software, such as MixW and the AGW Packet Engine. Whatever approach you
take, remember that you need to use the rig connections for 9600 baud,
rather than the usual ones for 300/1200 baud.

Subject: [amsat-bb] 9600baud digital satellites

Gentlemen,
Most of the current cube sats and those to follow in the future all
use data communications for transmitting telementry back to earth.

In order to receive this data a ground station requires a TNC of some
sort that can work up to 9600 baud.

To those of you who are already using this type of equipment, how are
you doing i,t what equipment are you using?

David
