Guess the notice was too short, only worked EI5EV, no one else heard anywhere on the downlink. Guess the Americans were sleeping and the Europeans were setting up antennas for VHF Field Day, which will be starting in 2 hours.
This weekend I am with the OM3KII contest group at Velka Javorina in JN88uu, right on the border between Czech and Slovakia. Great location at 970m ASL. Noticed that the 2m and 70cm operating positions were close enough to be able to listen on 2m while transmitting on 70cm. Just wish I had thought about working the sats sooner.
