TSUBAME, Engineering Demonstration Satellite for Earth and Astronomical Observation Laboratory for Space Systems, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan
An application has been made for the TSUBAME satellite to be launched via a H-IIA, piggyback launch window provided by JAXA under the selection criteria (priority A). The launch is planned in December 2012. TSUBAME translates to 'Swallow' in english. CW beacon coordinated on 437.275MHz.
