There actually is a couple of prints of that movie out, which I have a
DVD of where the original line is there "Shoot, a fella could have a
pretty good weekend in Dallas with all that stuff"...the movie was set
to come out two weeks after JFK was assasinated and they changed the
line to Vegas. Pickens (Major Kong) was from Abilene and all the
lines in it are more or less "ad libbed" there was a script by PIckens
just pulled the part well...and the "Dallas" line was his, as was the
call to change it.
A superb movie "What is the meaning of this, you know you cannot fight
in the war room" (or something like that)
