Space Flight Now says "The provision permits the Obama administration to remove satellites and related equipment from the U.S. State Department's munitions list, which restricts the weapons material from export to other countries."
http://www.spaceflightnow.com/news/n1301/03exportcontrol/ Clearly any easing of ITAR is welcome but I'm still not clear if the changes that Obama has signed enable US Hams to fully engage in all aspects of international satellite projects without fear of six figure fines or jail terms. Can someone clarify ? 73 Trevor M5AKA _______________________________________________ Sent via [email protected]. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member?
