Thankfully, the Space Gods smiled on me, and allowed me to catch Norm on
another pass of FO-29 tonight from Lima, Peru. This time without audio
distortion on my signal, Norm was able to answer me on the first call.
We exchanged grid squares, complete calls, and my grateful thanks for
his efforts to work me again.
This is DXCC #3 on Satellites, and my 41st grid since starting about a
month ago. What thrill--like being a novice all over again.
Now gotta get a desense filter for Mode J, and a computer controlled
rotor going--small steps to improve the station.
Thanks again, Hector, David, Norm and others who helped me troubleshoot
the audio problem, and nail down Norm
before he had to leave.
