João,

According to Bird, the 43 is good to 2.7 GHz with the correct elements:

I have a Bird 10k element, 10 watts, 1.1-1.8 GHz, however I did not see it on
their list of current
accessories. You can find them on eBay. Coaxial Dynamics sells elements which
cover this range which
should be usable with the Bird 43:

I assume you have a standard 400-1000 MHz element. Depending on your needs, it
MAY be accurate
enough. Twenty years ago, I compared the 10c (400-1000MHz) with the 10k on 23
cm, and they agreed
within about 5 %.

73s,

Alan

<Can you please tell me how can I use the bird 43 on 23cm band? I need a

<specs bird 43
<can't go to 23cm, only limited to 1000MHz.

<Thank you.
