Hi Clint,

I am not sure when you made the recording but I can confirm that FO73 was transmitting in transponder mode continuously this weekend from around 2100UTC Friday 18th April until exactly 2059UTC tonight Sunday 20th April.

In transponder mode the BPSK beacon is indeed only transmitting around 30mW

Glad you are enjoying the FUN!

What can one hear with just a Yaesu FT-60R and a DIY $15 tape measure beam?

How about AMSAT-UK's AO-73 satellite - with its whopping 300mW signal and never
closer to you than about 450 miles?
