Five days into it's eclipse season, AO-7 is operating very well. Strong Mode B signals on the last pass over eastern North America. I worked PV8DX, N8RO, KV1J (his first AO-7 QSO), and KB1RVT. My 25 watts ERP was plenty until the satellite started going behind the trees to the north.
Hope to hear everyone on the next pass in just under an hour. All of North America will be comfortably in the footprint. 73, Paul, N8HM _______________________________________________ Sent via [email protected]. Opinions expressed are those of the author.
