linphone extension needs a linphone-im software to be installed on the
system... it works, but we dropped support for it, so I suggest it be
removed... maybe put up a page in the wiki that talks about it and has
files attached so people who still want it can use it but the mention that
we do not support linphone and any questions related to it will be left
unanswered..
so in short, yes, I think we should remove it from cvs.
