I agree.
And, as Youness said, lsmod is available to non-root users, so we can use it.
And btw, I knew the pwc driver isn't perfect, but I didn't know it segfaults.
I only knew about the 'gray picture' problem.
But thanks for mentioning 'set ::webcam_settings_bug 1'.
Typed it in the status log window, and that helps.
