Here's the status on the packages :
Tarball : DONE
Linux installer, DONE
Ubuntu : NOT done (isn't that the same as debian + default skin set to ubuntu skin ?)
Fedora : NOT done (Phil)
Mandrake : NOT done (Phil)
Suse : NOT done (who's the packager?)
Slackware : NOT done (Thomas)
Connectiva + archlinux : what's that ?
Gentoo : NOT done (Karol will do it tomorrow but wants to know if we really need to add it to the SF/website) Bsd : NOT done (currently, we link to a port page, should we notify the porters ?)
Win : DONE
Mac : NOT done (Jerome)
AutoPackage : DONE
Klik : NOT done (who wants to do that and should it go in the website ?)

p.s.: Karol just told me Connectiva is Mandrake... so I guess it can be removed from the website too ?

Here's the TODO list for the website from what I previously had :

1 - waiting for Vivia to do and upload all screenshots to the wiki (almost done) 2 - update wiki page for webcam (refer to one of my mails, I have it flagged so ask me to forward it if needed) 3 - review FAQ and set it in the wiki (didn't get time to read the FAQ yet :S)
4 - finish up poll system for website (is it complete and 100% usable ?)
5 - set everything up in the website, make sure all works and upload to SF

what I would add is :
Lee, please upload everything you have to SF into an htdocs/new directory, so we can already try it on SF servers...
Please update the skins/plugins/screenshots images in the website
We need to add an Autopackage download for linux...
We have a 64bits section in the website for downloads... who wants to do all packages for 64 bits.. and IS it necessary ??? Update the website to make it integral... for the moment, there are still some links refering to the old site (Language flags on the right for example)
Upload all skins and plugins to the SF release system... (NEED a list...)

I think that's all FOR NOW... if anything is major, please add it to the list, if we have something minor, add it too, but we'll probably have to make sacrifices and have a half-perfect environment on the release.. (example, wiki for webcam could wait after the release before it gets updated.. anyways, users get the last version with the link...)

Hi all, I tagges CVS today and created the debian package for 0.95..
you can find the files in http://kakaroto.homelinux.net/amsn
you can get the source files and create your own packages or the .deb and test it..
anyone who creates the packages, please send to my personal email!
we need :
Mac .dmg (Jerome)
RPM for FC4 and for mandriva (Phil)
Linux/windows installers (Youness)
Autopackage (Youness)
Slackware (Thomas)
Gentoo ebuild (Karol)

the autopackage package is done but I don't like it, I'll modify the spec file (oh god, how can I do that :S) and create a new package... we need the doc dir to be created for amsn and icons and applications + symlink for amsn-remote and amsn-remote-CLI...

Vivia, I'd like Thomas to do the package for slackware.. we'll compare then, he's officialy the packager, has already done this and does a great job... he sent the first package for 0.95 (when we though that would be it) so I think he deserves to do it now

any distro I forgot ???

by the way.. I didn't study today, exam tomorrow, I'm fucked! just to share my pain...

p.s.: We'll need a COMPLETE TODO list for what remains to be done before we release : screenshots, website, anything...

Thanks all for your work!
