Yesterday after my commit I didn't get the commit message (normally almost instant) but I did get some of my messages that I sent, then later I did get the message it was delayed. So it seems sending 1 message will not give you the latency because sometimes there is a large latency and sometimes a short. Maybe it depends on which server processes it?
