Not sure, Tom will be able to tell you, but I don't know why you get the
'getenv TZ' bug, could you try
launching amsn with the TZ variable set to something... or google to find out
how to avoid that, I'm sure we can
have a workaround to get the real full stack trace..

I googled for it but without success... how can I set TZ? Is it an
enviroment variable? (export TZ=1 && wish8.5 ./amsn doesn't seems to
work).

And Tom, can you add a binding to focus the main menu with ALT?

Possibly, tk does something similar using the -underline options, if you do Alt+F for file for example.. I'll try and work something out so just pressing Alt selects the first entry on the menubar.

Maybe
you could add a binding to open a popup menu with the key next to the
"win key" too :)
I tried to do it, searched bindings.tcl to make some ugly and dirty
hack, but no success here too.. I'm a "java guy", maybe I should learn
some Tcl :D
Well, your problem is that you don't know the name of the popup menu! Tk entries don't have a default popup menu for copy/paste etc, so we have to make those ourselves. This means we can't just give all entries a bind ing to the menu key which will open "their" menu...this could be done on an entry-by-entry basis, might be clumsy, but we'll see...

Thanks in advance,
Thanks for the suggestions,
Tom

Hello Tom,

Main problems solved! It's really stable here :), I have only some
little problems:
Cool :)

It's not possible to close an submenu or popup pressing ESC. It brings
a Tk has brought an error window.
You should have attached/pasted the error you get (click on Details button to
get the error message)
I'm getting the following error:

Try click in a menuitem that have a submenu attached to it (before the
500ms), the submenu doens't post if I do it (only works correctly if I
wait for the 500ms).

You're doing a great job at testing! really, a great QA guy you are (Yoda
talk:P)
Thanks! Just trying to help in some way :)

Looking forward to seeing pixmap menu in amsn 0.96! Keep up the good work :)
:D

And looking forward to take english lessons too ;)

I see no probs with your english, perfectly clear, and if you stopped saying
that your english is bad, I would think english is your natural language!

Thanks again :D

p.s.: another really little thing, look at the image attached, the
height of menuitems that have submenu attached is slightly different
from the others.

again, great job at testing :)

Hi Tom,

I found another minor bugs:

- The background of menus with submenus are different than others (a
little detail hehe).

- I'm able to open two menus at once, the main window and the
chatwindow one, with the two menu opened at once the "not unposting"
problems reappears. (I attached a demo because my english is very
confusing, even to me :D)

Fixed

- If I open an usermenu (popup at the contact list), i'm not able to
open the main menu directly (I must unpost the usermenu first, by
clicking somewhere on the chatwindow, clicking the mainmenu doesn't
work)

This is more difficult to fix, but I'll give it a go.
