plugins.tcl is loaded before preferences.tcl
plugins.tcl probably loads plugins on startup
preferences.tcl does a package require BWidget which has the NoteBook...
so in the end... the plugin should be loaded before bwidget, so it needs to be 
fixed.. but this did NOT happen 
before (or on windows), I'm sure of that!
