I don't know if it is a bug .. I have kind of the same thing but I still
cannot isolate when it happens. Most of the time, it happens when an
entry of menu stay highlighted after the window lost the focus ... it is
then necessary to play with Alt and Esc to get back the control of the
menus... or to restart aMSN.
Do you have the same problem ?
(I've almost the same config but under Gentoo)

I've Changed to tcl/tk 8.5 , this really speed up :) , but menus are still broken :/
