if we specify them as not available, then they won't allow them, don't
worry, and it has nothing to do with winks and background caps since it
also exists in msn 7.0!!! I think it only means that we support some of
the core features of that client, which do not appear as 'extra/eye candy'
features set in the clientid... which means : video
conversation/webcam/video conference, maybe a new type of inks, or maybe
offline messages (which CAN be viewed in msn 7.5, but only sent with MSN
8)... mainly the msncX clientid stuff means that we support MSNP2P
messages (new FT protocol), but that's supported since 6.0 anyways, I
don't know what's the diff in the available core features between msn 7.0
and 7.5, but one thing is sure :
1 - we can find out on hypothetic or msnpiki
2 - we have clientid set to the MSNCx of 7.0 although we don't support all
msn 7.0 features, so why not the same for 7.5
thanx Vivia for the idea...

Winks and background capabilities can be managed independently from the
client id... but if we put the client id as 7.5, do the servers consider
the winks and background available even if the specific flags are set to
"not available" ?

Hello all,
In the clientid, aMSN identifies as MSN 7.0 . Should we change it to
7.5 ?
Hi.
In my opinion we shouldn't do that, because we dont' have winks and
background
image.
That's my opinion, btw. :)
