hello,
yes, it's a huge TODO list, but it's a TODO (as in 'things to do') not a
MUDO(as in 'must do' :D) I don't think we should remove anything.. any
new idea, or bug to be fixed should be in that TODO, they should be
removed only if :
1 - they are fixed
2 - they became invalid (example, 'add option to configure linphone
port..') if not one of these 2 reasons, we should keep them, maybe
in 100 years, we'll have no work (or our grandchildren) or we'll
have 100 devels working full time, and we'll "need to add new
feats!", oh, there's the TODO, it had tons of new feature
suggestions, great ideas, stuff that we never had the time to do,
and then, our grandchildren will say "damn, vivia removed them" and
they'll all turn to vivia's grandchildren and beat them up :D

lol, ok ok :D so no wiki asterisks then :)

GUI tweaks as in ? give me an example... also, winskin plugin.. maybe it
should be renamed...

hide/show button bar in chatwindows. recnt example :)

oh, yeah, sure.. GUI tweaks like that, for sure!

yo, you're the one m9awda allik, I think there is a small
misunderstanding here, I never said YOU would release it, calm down
girl, you have no power in the chain of command here :P what I meant was
that you were supposed to determine when the release is 'ready' and
launch the release processes (we need to create packages, upload them,
wait 1 week for the sync, etc...), and don't forget... there WILL be an
RC1 this time...

Well, excuse me, but you said "Vivia was supposed to release 0.96" - huh?
what? Anyway, it's still NOT ready, reflector+pause still doesn't work...
I could just try to blindly assume it works the same as non-reflector and
test if MSN accepts it, but I didn't understand what you wanted to change
:P

hehe, yeah, I said a misunderstanding.. anyways, i know it's not ready yet, but could you still check the TODO list and see if all that remains are only bugfixes and no new feats are to be added in ? I know the 0.96 release was speed up because of the proxy issues, but we should make sure we don't miss anything. about reflector/pause, I say it's not an issue, it doesn't bug if you press the pause button, it just won't do anything.. but yeah, people will be annoyed.. I think you must do the test)_webcam_reflector 1, launch webcam with reflector with an msn 7.5 user, and ask him to press pause... see what happens (add puts in case TSP_RECEIVE to see what is received exactly... ) if you don't understand it, I'll do it this weekend, I'll have time the weekend..

Besides, I think there were still some bugs, I just don't remember them -
I don't feel like coding lately as you might have noticed so I lost track
on the TODO. Is the pause issue the last one?

yes, an RC release is a release with bugs.. so if we know there are bugs we can still release the RC1 and fix bugs we know about until we receive new ones...

which is why we'll have an RC1... and about tls1.5.. what's the prob ?
you need to add the binary packages for the different platforms (unix,
windows, x64, mac) and change the autodownloadfer for tls... what is the
rpbolem ?(don't forget to change the package ifneeded from 1.5 to 1.50
in case users have tcl/tk 8.5)...

Yes. I just need to DO all that and I'm boooooooooored :(

you're bored, so it means it won't bother you to do it :p

>[*] really, REALLY j/k, i don't mean it :)

I know, don't worry, it might be vulgar, but in this case it means
nothing more than 'you're crazy', so no need to 'REALY j/k" ;)

Yes, if it was PM I wouldn't worry, but I don't know who will read this,
and if they will really know arabic or half-know and start asking and come
up with misunderstandings like with baka yarou :P

yeah, in that case, hey to all arabs out there, in moroccan arabic, it's not a problem to say that.. actually it is vulgar, but it's not vulgar at all for algerian people and I'm used to hang out with algerian friends so I'm used to that word so for me it's not vulgar (a word can be VERY vulgar in one country and mean nothing in another.. like, in tunis, 'bread' in tunisian dialect means.. humm.. the most vulgar way of saying a woman's sex, in moroccan dialect, just an example.. ) so I guess you were right to specify that in the end :)

yes you did, I saw you chatting with the user when he was [TODO]ing the
bot :@

Just ONE user ONCE, I gave him my permission to do it because I was too
lazy to form a sentence that would describe the problem and I also warned
to not do it generally. It wasn't "find noone on the channel".

that's all for now i guess.. :)

you lazy girl.. :p yeah, but he's not the only one, there are 2 or 3 who did it, one was with you, another one I've been trying to track him down to yell at him, but he was always idling when I was there.. and he did it when noone was on the channel (can't remember who, I deleted his thing from the todo list as it was stupid as hell.
