Read the mail archives.. yes, it is only C and C++ code, search the mail
archives and you'll find an email with details on what exactly needs to be
optimized.
You might also need to use some of Tcl/Tk API for C...
IIRC Phil is working on this, so I suggest you talk to him to make sure no
work is done twice.
But before, I suggest you take a look at what you need to do, just to make
sure you're up to the challenge.
