Although I haven't looked into it personally, I have been told by the developer of
Bot2k3 that we need to use MSNP14 to connect to the MSN servers in order to use Yahoo Interop. I am yet to do any protocol sniffs personally but apparently its considerably different from MSNP13. Personally I'm in favour of MSNP14 being the target version for any future aMSN releases, simply because of the number of new features available over the current MSNP12 that is used. (Mainly, yahoo interop and offline messages). However, I have never contributed any code to aMsn and therefore don't have much say in things, I would really like to see MSNP14 in a third-party client, and maybe aMsn to be one of the first?
