We are repeating an old thread here.
This was the point where I said that "svn info|grep ..."
is equal to "svnversion ."

It was followed by Arieh stating some people might use packages/tarball
and don't have svn installed. Then kkrt said something like use a file
with svn info first, if it does not exist try "svnversion .", if fails
then use ::date ... don't remember exactly.
