I'm actually trying with a very big file (about 700MB :$) and it seems to work well :)
about the nicknames... I didn't find what you want to show to me... :(
Oh something else (xD) : there is two times the option "connect at startup" : in tab "session" (this is the french name, I don't know if it's the same in english ; it's the third tab) and in the last tab ("Connexion", near the end) ; is it normal ? maybe check if it's same function in the code or if it's duplicated... (could make pb in the config file)
I'll stop soon to talk :x
